I’m a friend of Gabrielle’s, a former (and future) NOLA resident now expatriated to Portland…we saw each other last night and she sent me the link to your blog.

Just wanted to say thanks for all you and your friends did on your trip. If it wasn’t for the volunteers from elsewhere doing an each-one save-one effort on the thousands of projects that need help, the area would look much worse than it does, believe it or not.
