A few reports of issues have been raised on the mailing lists around upgrading to Snow Leopard. There have been some good tutorials and hints posted on blogs that aren’t in the planet.postgresql.org roll, so here are a few things that might help you out:
- Installing PostgreSQL on Snow Leopard 10.6
- Snow Leopard wipes out the ‘postgres’ user
- Recompiling PostgreSQL in Snow Leopard
- PHP 5.3.0, PostgreSQL and Snow Leopard
- Ruby: pg gem installation on Snow Leopard
- PostgreSQL and Mac OS 10.6, with python
- Django, psycopg2, PostgreSQL: Snow Leopard needs python 2.6 site packages, other hints

Just noticed this : “There is no centralized authentication for mysql,”.
That is one of the first things we fixed when we refactored MySQL to Drizzle.
