They&#8217;ve got templates that use Google Visualization to help the process along.<\/p>\n<p>I <a href=\"http:\/\/scraperwiki.com\/views\/licenses-granted-per-year\/\">made the following today<\/a> (from <a href=\"http:\/\/scraperwiki.com\/scrapers\/oregon_business_registry\">this datasource<\/a>):<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chesnok.com\/daily\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Licenses-granted-per-year-ScraperWiki.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chesnok.com\/daily\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Licenses-granted-per-year-ScraperWiki-300x108.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"Licenses granted per year | ScraperWiki\" width=\"300\" height=\"108\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2325\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chesnok.com\/daily\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Licenses-granted-per-year-ScraperWiki-300x108.png 300w, https:\/\/www.chesnok.com\/daily\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Licenses-granted-per-year-ScraperWiki-1024x369.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.chesnok.com\/daily\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Licenses-granted-per-year-ScraperWiki.png 1078w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have the entire data set, but this graph indicates that the recession had a significant negative impact on the creation rate of new businesses in Oregon.<\/p>\n<p>I just <a href=\"http:\/\/scraperwiki.com\/scrapers\/oregon_business_registry\/code\/?rev=14243\">started a new scraper job<\/a> to pull more information about people and the places where the businesses are located.
